Animators exploring the intricate relationship between past and present often need to reshape narrative and visual conventions in their effort to resonate with a wider audience, resulting in unconventional, yet deeply personal works of art.
As such, an exposium (as a fusion of an exhibition and symposium) is the most adequate form to scrutinise the intersection between animation and memory from an artistic research perspective.
